All of us need to have our own debts

 

“I still remember the occasion when I visited to Da Nang at the end of 2015. I had five days off. Of course, having put the matter right at all then I had been easy to travel.

At that time, I had been a copywriter who took major responsibility for the content of fanpage.

On the day when I got on board eagerly, the fanpage also ran into difficulties. The task which I considered be settled only was a range of unusable things. How bad and slipshod!

As a result, I received my boss’s complaining messages, and I felt confused as well. I intended to spend a little time going out to write post in the hotel. However, at the same time, my colleague called and told me ”You should relax, let me help you to take care of all…hihi’’.

Thanks God, I breathed a sigh of relief. Thanks to her help, my trip was extremely happy at all.

Until the next day, going to my office, I had been in a daze since I knew that my colleague had to be extremely nervous and bear a load of my boss’s complaints while I went out without worrying about anything. She sacrificed half a day for the posts which I spent only one hour completing as usual because she did not get used to writing. Although the task was so tough, she was patient to let me travel. Not mention that the posts sent were turned down, my boss began not to be patient enough to wait. Therefore, she was scolded as well.

Indeed, although she has had a ton of tasks, she carried a lot of my own responsibility. In spite of being under such the pressure, she only said to me ‘You should be relaxed, let me help you to take care of all… hihi’.

I owed her a lot, extremely a lot. The debt has been so big that I cannot know how to return it for her.

However, this debt has been really meaningful, I though. But for it, she and I were only the colleague who did not understand each other. If not for it, in my eyes, she only was serious and quite cold.

Sometimes, the debts themselves are the bonds which keep us closer.

Like in life, people said that the friendship should be always in due fair. ‘Borrowing 101 thousand, paying the exact amount. If you do not have 1 thousand, I will give you 10 and my change is 9.’

I don’t think so. ‘If you have some thousand, you can turn back. If not, it’s ok and do not weigh up the pros and cons’. I prefer such the behavior. Actually, several thousand is not a debt of money, just one of love which I usually call it the mental debt. When we love and sympathize with each other, we are naturally good to each other much more. Those are the thoughts of owing people, like me.

Therefore, sometimes we really need have our debts for the relationships not to be straightforward and impartial, to create more close-knit and longer linkage between us.
