Boss, keep scolding me!

Sitting in boss’s room, I heard a knock at the door. Sally entered. Boss still kept her eyes on the screen. The atmosphere in room is quite stressful. Realizing the bewildered eyes of Sally, I  tracked the story while  tried to jump into her thinking to see what was happening.

- Sister, I have just sent the plan for new program to your eBellal. I should have sent it from last night but I have some own business so I just finished it this afternoon. I’m so sorry.

- Ok, I’ve read it. You can leave and continuous to work.  

Confused for 5 seconds, the girl greeted boss and returned to her room, her heart just like swallowed a ton of air, empty and so down. Typically, each of her reports were feedback devotedly by boss, she pointed out the wrong place to correct and good passage to promote. This time, boss ignored. I told myself: This girl is done!. Who said being scolded by boss is very scary. For me, when she doesn't say anything, it is the scariest moment.

Being scolded by boss when we are working is common. When scolded, employees often feel afraid to communicate with the boss, afraid that they are going to be fired and couldn't concentrate on their work, resulting in the work become worse and worse. But the fact is, the boss still scolded meaning she still expressed an interest in employees, still desire and trust that they will do better and better. Every people at Saxa received suggestions, complain almost every day. It could be about the wrong products, slow progress, bad behavior or, the wrong attitude ... but then, people were being reshaped to the right way, so detailed and suggestive. At such times, we knew we still had a chance to be trained, to modify. But there were times, because of the careless and superficiality, we haven't show the attitude of trying to do work more effort.

The angry of boss is right. There were many times, we left early because we had an appointment with friends that night, that weekend I had a party at home so I had to have a day off, or we had work a whole week so why we supposed to work over Sunday? So, despite the deadline, we still neglected and blamed for circumstances. Meanwhile, just because of some individuals, the group, even companies was influenced because of our irresponsible.

There are sentences that "Spare the rod and spoil the child". Perhaps, the blame, complain and pointing out the weaknesses and bad is a kind of love that we receive in this life. As a valuable lesson, we will become better and better. So if one day you are still yelled by boss, please draw the lessons about the right ways, and do the right thing, trying to be better yourself. Don't wait until being ignored because of your laziness and conservative.
