I could not stop smiling with those reasons. It’s true that Saxa Sales team is so busy at the end of year. I feel like the total amount of work over the past ten months is as same as the last two months. But the Sales executives still can keep calm and joy in rush. Sometimes, I heard Mimi’s voice was singing “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen” song with her funny face. Right at the second lyrics, she changed topic immediately “Ms. Moony, can you please send me quotation of the ball pen?”. Although just few minutes ago she had been scolded by the Sales leader.
Please do not misunderstand that everyone in Saxa is so calm and they never argue. That happens a lot. This is when they start doing something new, they cannot stop giving opinions, raising their voices, agreeing and disagreeing. Sometimes it sounds like they are coming to a standstill. However, even in the rush situations like these, when everyone got so hurried, I saw them being calmer, nicer to each other and making outsiders like me feel secured to focus on my work. And the result of clearly positive atmosphere was the accomplished mission of Sales team, customers did not have to receive any severe reactions and we have a free treated tea break from Bella.
I image, everyone will have a broadcasting antenna. Every emotion signal we send, someone will receive, less or more. Sometimes, the signal might be typing so strongly into keyboard, throwing a pen onto the table, shutting the door or complaining. All of them will make people around feel the emotion. It might or might not reduce stress, but those ones are definitely bearing. And nobody knows in that situation, we have not sent to customers an email with full of typos, wrong files or made a wrong decision, then to wish back “What if I wouldn’t have…”
We still look for a recipe to have a wonderful workplace where every staff would love to get out of their bed as quick as possible and go there and where customers will feel assured that their partner is fully attentive to every order. Maybe, the recipe always lies on us when we choose to be happy and calm to each other, even in the most chaotic situations.
