Rational boss or emotional boss, what should be chosen to be?

The days before, there was a time I went to eat Tokyo Deli with your boss. While eating, we told each other about marginal work stories about family, love, happy story, sad story ... rich of topic as a table of colorful sushi.

My boss told about the time she opened the company. In one time go eating, she met a young girl, who as she said, quite cute and agile. At first their conversation was normal, as a guest and staff at the restaurant. But talking for a moment, boss knew her situation was so pathetic. Because of regreting for her, and because she think the girl had qualities, so boss told her to work with boss.

Thought she was a good imployee, but when working, boss knew that she was not as boss thought. The way she behaved was not right, again and again, that made boss lose her patience. And finally, that girl left, hadn't worked at Saxa anymore.

You know, when I heard that, I wondered if the times like that could make boss afraid of the strangers? If it was me, I would have said yes.

But yesterday, when I talked about it, I asked her, if she met a little agility girl, with the  pitiful situation as before, then you would you receive her?

I think that would be an answer, represents the annoyance emotions of her. But she calmly answered me: "That depends on the manpower needs of the company, girl. If then, the company has enough good people, then I will help her. If companies are searching to those with real talent, I will consider whether she is good enough to help the company. "

I was surprised. The frustration, the trauma that she'd experienced, they should have become something engraved in her. Just as if I had betrayed, I would not easily trust. Or if I had been taken advantage of, I am sure would have been very wary. But why, with her, those things seem to be nothing.

Perhaps, that is the difference between boss and employee.

With employees, they will often think first to personal feelings.

As for the boss, they always think first for the company, tfor the collective.

Since in fact, if because of the disappointment with the staff before, they become lost faith in the next class, will it be fair? Or if they had been betrayed, they become severe, then will it be reasonable? As the next employee class I insisted not.

I realize that sometimes the reasonal people as the bosses is really emotional person. Since they clearly demarcated: what they went through, what they are going to go through, they are different. It is true that there are people hurt them, but not everybody.

The bosses have reason to understand, their wounds, their lessons cannot changed their attitude to the staff.

And bosses have reason to confirm that personal feelings do not destroy their belief in the reBellaning humans.
