“Salute the flag” ceremony

 

If we have to tell about your company, I believe that no one of us wants to say: “My workplace is boring and lack of vitality, especially on every morning from 8 am to 1h30 pm. Everybody runs to work, all of them are late, not some minutes but some dozen minute. In the afternoon, they are sleepy and couldn’t awake until 2 or 3 pm.”

But ironically, it was the reality of Saxa, a name I am symbol for. That is the status of the previous 6 months. Sometimes I still heard them talking with each other about it. But it was fine until once, while going to drink beer, people listened Bella Bella accidentally said something vague: Two years from now, I will get married. I'll do a simple Europe style, especially the indispensable item "wedding vows" on The Vow...

Boss caught this moment immediately. Right! Ceremony! We need to have a ceremony every day!

After thinking was doing, boss quickly agreed "saluting" rite at the tart of every session. All brothers of Saxa must be on time, 2 times per day, and holding hands in a circle in the lobby of the ground floor, reading out any one thing of our 12 cultural values that we committed to efforts to live by. Sometimes it was 2nd, the Family cultural value - teammates. Sometimes it was 5th, Mature cultural values, brave, responsible. Sometimes it was 8th, which I like most, is Love yourself.

From the date of application of the ritual, we no longer late, even one minute, even one person. Simply because we knew, there were teammates waiting for us.

We also weren't sleepy on the afternoon anymore. Simply because everyone is eager to see the rare moments during the day, to gather, hold hands of anyone you like, read a few sense sentences. And when someone's holding hands, we must hold with all sincerity, so suddenly we did not feel sleepy anymore.

That's it, the simple way that I saw them overcome their wilted status at the beginning of business hours, is awaking enthusiasm and sincerity inside each other, with the tight fist, by the sense sound they read together, oh, and applauded together after reading, too.
