I am convinced it will be not the good feeling at all. Cause I also had been, being like this. I used to silently bowed, wrote the rebuking status, and also had argued furiously. Each time was the time I felt my pride, my self-esteem rose excessively. I hadn’t like the way my boss being so hard.
While hesitated whether giving up or not, I saw a colleague’s reaction. She was like me, was also put into the sights.
Being yelled: she kept silent and said sorry.
Being complained: she continued trying.
Being decried: she fixed the mistake.
All the reactions of her, was just for accepting and changing. And to that day, she had changed. Every plan from her were become better, boss complimented unstoppable. And for me, still be rejected and being yelled all day. I found that, I was wrong, very wrong.
With the comments: I chose neglecting, she chose accepting.
With the difficulty: I chose giving up, she chose trying.
Maybe, she had something I didn’t have, it is the courage.
I seemed to understand the effect of the scolding from the boss.
It helped to define clearly 2 groups. Resisting group, always complaining, demanding to give up, is the weak groups. Receptive group, listening, bearing to look back and be modified, is the strong group.
And the worst thing is for a long time, I belonged to the weak one.
I realized that, when being complained, most of us just concentrated in the hurt and self-esteem feelings. But we all forgot one thing, those 2 feelings was the things prevented us from developing.
After all, instead of pampering the negative feeling, I should be stronger to face with problem. Because, only by strength, I could become mature.
Boss yells? That’s ok.
Hurted, self-esteem? Forget it, they are useless.
