Let us tell you the reason why Saxa exists. When a company is established, we believe that it must have a big and right enough reason. Saxa is a Gift company, we have started it since 2010 and also asked ourselves, what the reason was and what Saxa would do for customers?

We decide that Saxa will have to be a company knows how to bring happiness to customers. So, together we are building the company’s strong and kind culture values to first make every Saxa people happy. A company which is happy enough will have enough power to create happy projects for customers. Specifically, Saxa’s Studio non-profit project, free entry, named Story at Saxa. The strong one no need to be honored

Saxa’s summarized transcript at the end of year.

There are 3 columns: mark  from  boss, mark from teammate and mark from yourself.

There will be 3 level of bonus: 1 month salary, 2 month salary and 3 month salary.

Boss gives us 1 day to think and mark our teammates. Haven’t know the score, but we imply agree that, the best score is for Erick, designer of company.

Because everyone sees the way Erick was enthusiasm with work. His house is farthest from the company, about 20km, but he haven’t been late just one day. He tried to make each maquette, each layout  to be the most beauty as possible. Never winced when the designs were rejected. Every time it was not approved, Erick agility wore headphones again, looked straight into the notebook and repeatedly drawn until getting out new ideas. Or every dining chance, Erick strenuously set fire, wherever need a physique Erick always presented...

No one said that, but everybody thinks 3-month salary bonus for Erick is perfectly reasonable.

The next day, boss announces the score.

A surprise for the company. Erick slip to the 2nd group. The Bellan reason, is because he gave himself extremely low score. Lower than the rest.

"God, Erick was crazy?" I surprise that can't keep speaking out in my mind like that. But is he really "crazy" when rejecting the highest bonuses and rejecting almost all the effort of his own work for so long?

No. Of course not.

When boss ask, Erick say: "I give myself the lowest score because I realize, the last 2 months are 2 months I worked great ...

... That means 10 months ago, I was working below my real ability a lot. I felt I did not deserve it. "

The way of Erick to look at his weaknesses, is also the way to colleagues truly respect him.

Up to now, I was always afraid to recognize mistakes. I think that it will make me feel ashamed, makes me self-esteem. However, Erick has proven to me the opposite. Recognizing mistakes sometimes is one way for us to proud of ourselves. Because, if being the strongest, they will not need any honor at all.

P/s: That day ended with a special award for London from boss. Not the money, but a book, with an inscription: "For members who is brave and deserve to be honored the most in the company". And from that day on, we have understood the simple but glory meaning of the promise "practice to be a strong" we kept promising but never really understood.
