What if going at 3rd rank?

 

 

 

I laughed my bottom off when listening to the head of HR department telling the 3 year ago story. I did not know it was lucky for me or unlucky for my company, but at that day I was so stubborn. That was a wood manufacturing company so everywhere was full of wood smell. I am allergic rhinitis so waiting there, I could not help sneezing and itching like crazy. I had few times thinking about cancelling the interview but the job was so attractive and the fact that the boss was actually busy that made me stay till the end. I finished interviewing at 9pm.

That was story long time ago. The most recent time was at Saxa, I also got into a top three over thousands of CV. Among the three, as my boss said “You have the least experience”. Nobody applies for markting job without knowing any marketing knowledge. I was so confused when being asked about  SWOT, PENCIL, KISS principles while others told a lot of interesting stories. But guess what? I am the only one who has “fate” with Saxa till now.

 “In the feeling letter you sent me after the intervew, you told me that you denied an offer from a better company with higher salay, because you have just realized what you really want. You want to do the job you love, to work 8 hours a day happily. Your act of searching for good values to represent for you touches me. Maybe, that was the most convincing words from you at that day.”

Sometimes, I also think, why was I at the 3rd rank? It actually was a bit… resentful. Why was I not the 1st one? But then I have been passed through the though. Because if you are good, there is always someone better, if you are rich, there is always someone ricker, but if you are sincere, no one can compare. I have not tried testing my sincerity level, but I had chance to receive the gifts from the sincerity I have given.

So, what if going at 3rd rank?
